Destiny's grooming process begins with gathering all necessary information from the client and thoroughly assessing the dog. By going at the dog's pace and always being observant, she ensures the safety and comfort of the dogs she grooms. Handling nervous or anxious dogs with care, Destiny is patient and attentive to their limits, providing a stress-free grooming experience. One of her favorite tools, chunkers, allows her to blend and create shape with precision, enhancing her creative grooming techniques.
The most challenging part of Destiny's job is managing pet parents' expectations. She believes in thorough communication, providing examples, and collaboratively finding solutions that work best for both the pet and the owner. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing happy clients and pets, especially when dogs return multiple times, allowing her to form strong bonds with both the pets and their owners. Working efficiently with older dogs to ensure their comfort and low stress is particularly gratifying for her. Destiny's ultimate goal is to provide a grooming experience that leaves both the dogs and their owners feeling comfortable, less stressed, and confident in the care provided.
