Her approach to grooming a new dog involves first getting the dog comfortable with her, starting with a slow and enjoyable bath to avoid overwhelming the dog with buzzing tools near their face and ears. Steph stays updated with the latest grooming styles, techniques, and products by practicing on family members' dogs and watching videos on platforms like TikTok. She loves a good challenge and is always eager to try new things.
The most challenging part of Steph's job is reminding owners that they play a crucial role in their dog's grooming success. However, the most rewarding aspect is the daily satisfaction she gets from helping dogs and their owners feel comfortable and happy. Steph's calm demeanor and clear communication help ease nervous or anxious dogs during grooming sessions. Her favorite grooming tools are anything that smells great or a cute bow to add a finishing touch. Outside of grooming, Steph is also a dog trainer, further showcasing her dedication to helping dogs. She hopes her clients leave each session satisfied, happy, and ready for their next groom.
