SENIOR STYLIST
VIKTORIIA YELYSEIEVA

Viktoriia Yelyseieva has been a professional groomer since 2018, starting her journey in an unconventional way when her husband decided to open a pet salon.

Learning from an amazing specialist who became her first teacher, Viktoriia fell in love with grooming and the transformations it brings. She completed two basic grooming courses and attended numerous master classes, webinars, and conferences to stay updated with the latest innovations and provide excellent service. After moving to Canada, Viktoriia faced challenges finding a job due to her limited schedule. However, a timely advertisement from The Pawsh Dog led her to an interview, and she was hired despite her difficult schedule. Viktoriia is especially fond of working with large Bernadoodles, a breed she hadn’t encountered in Ukraine.

Her approach to grooming emphasizes calmness, care, and building trust with the dogs, ensuring their first experience is positive. Viktoriia finds working with aggressive dogs challenging but understands their behavior often stems from fear. She takes pride in moments when nervous dogs begin to trust her, like the memorable case of Minus, a doodle with a difficult character. Viktoriia advises pet owners to brush their pets’ fur every two to three days to prevent mats and maintain a fluffy Teddy cut. Before becoming a groomer, Viktoriia worked in the beauty industry, specializing in eyelash extensions, tattooing, and eyebrow shaping. Her main goal is to ensure that safety and beauty go hand in hand, working as part of a dedicated team at The Pawsh Dog to guarantee client satisfaction.
